Talent and passion for music can take one to the very top, but on the way, there are showbiz traps involving money, fame, and fan crowds, making it challenging for a young girl to fight for her dreams in this no-holds-barred world where fame is elusive. A controversial talent show called "Music Race" searches for talented singers nationwide, with decisions made by three jurors: a once-popular singer Olo (Maciej Zakoscielny), social media queen Ewa (Julia Kaminska), and Dame of Polish jazz Urszula Dudziak (playing herself). During an audition in Olo's hometown, a rebellion ensues when "Ostra" (Katarzyna Sawczuk) objects to the jurors' dismissive behavior towards her mother (Anita Sokolowska), which suits the show's producer (Tomasz Karolak) and propels "Ostra" forward. It turns out that she not only has a fiery temper but also a great voice. Success, however, comes at a price, and being popular isn't as pleasant as many think. Our teenage heroine must face a genuine test of integrity and character while navigating stage competitions, the ruthless world of show business, and her own feelings.
